Hancock County Job and Family Services is EXTENDING this RFQ to October 22nd, 2021.

HCJFS is seeking qualified transportation companies or programs to provide transportation for eligible Hancock County Job and Family Services’ clients and services.   

Hancock County Job and Family Services is not able to pay for no-shows.

Letters of Interest should include the following at a minimum:

  • Hours available to transport.
  • Transportation rates within Findlay city limits.
  • Transportation rates outside of Findlay city limits, but within Hancock County.
  • Transportation rates outside of Hancock County.

Reimbursement requirement for tolls and parking fees based on actual cost as applicable.

Hearing for proposed Title XX County Social Services Plan on 5/19/21 at 1:30 pm

Public Notice
The Hancock County Job and Family Services Planning Committee will hold a public hearing to obtain public comment on the 2020 Comprehensive Title XX Social Services Plan (CTXXSSP) County Profile.

HCJFS accepting proposals for TANF Summer Youth Employment Program

Hancock County Job and Family Services and OhioMeansJobs-Hancock are requesting proposals to establish a TANF Summer Youth Employment Program to provide educational, employment and training supports for individuals who are 14-18 years of age enrolled in secondary school.  This program will allow low income TANF-eligible Ohio youth to gain valuable work experience while earning a paycheck.

Proposals should include scope of services to be provided, unit rate of proposed services and a budget detailing the costs laid out in the proposal.  Funding will be limited to funds available for the program but not to exceed $49,500.00.

Proposed Services are for Hancock County residents.

ODJFS is pleased to announce the new online referral portal for reporting adult abuse, neglect, or exploitation is now available. ODJFS will have a 24-hour online portal to report adult abuse, neglect and exploitation in Ohio that is not an emergency. The link to the online portal is https://aps.jfs.ohio.gov/
