Hancock County Job & Family Services has announced that all statewide eligibility systems for Medicaid, food assistance and cash assistance will be unavailable on August 23, 24 and 27 for system updates.

The agency will be open, but staff will be very limited in their ability to research information and will be unable to issue public assistance benefits.  The call center will be closed during the system outage.

Customers that come in to the agency will still be able to file paper applications and submit documents all of which will be processed as soon as possible once the system becomes available.

The agency recognizes the inconvenience and will be fully prepared to meet customers’ needs in the week following the outage.

This system upgrade will occur in all 88 counties in Ohio.
