The Hancock County Job and Family Services Planning Committee will hold a public hearing to obtain public comment on the 2023 Comprehensive Title XX Social Services Plan (CTXXSSP) County Profile.

Hancock County Job and Family Services is soliciting proposals from qualified transportation companies or programs to provide Non-Emergency Transportation for Medicaid to eligible residents of Hancock County.  The Request For Proposal can be found here:

Hancock County Job and Family Services will be closed to the public Friday September 23, 2022.

Ohio Means Jobs Handicap Assistance

Due to the work being done on the Ohio Means Jobs parking lot there is currently no handicap accessibility.
If you are handicap and need to drop of paperwork please call 1-419-422-0182 and press 0 for the operator.
They will assist you in getting the paperwork to the correct place.

Hancock County JFS/OMJ-Hancock Building’s Parking Lot will be getting repaved 8/11/22 – 8/18/22.

During this time, the Building will still be OPEN for regular business, however, all visitors will need to park behind the building and walk around to the FRONT ENTRANCE with the glass doors to enter.

 

There will be NO HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY while the parking lot is being repaved.

The Hancock County JFS Building will be closed to the public on 5-27-22.

HCJFS accepting proposals for TANF Summer Youth Employment Program

Hancock County Job and Family Services and OhioMeansJobs-Hancock are requesting proposals to establish a TANF Summer Youth Employment Program to provide educational, employment and training supports for individuals who are 14-18 years of age enrolled in secondary school.  This program will allow low income TANF-eligible Ohio youth to gain valuable work experience while earning a paycheck.

Proposals should include scope of services to be provided, unit rate of proposed services and a budget detailing the costs laid out in the proposal.  Funding will be limited to funds available for the program but not to exceed $37,351.00.

Proposed Services are for Hancock County residents.

JFS releases RFP for Youth Services for Program Year 2022
